A scheduled blue cruise is a gulet cruise with a fixed departure day and a set route, on which you book a cabin and sail with other guests instead of hiring the whole boat. Our scheduled blue cruise itineraries last 3, 4, 7 or 8 days and leave from Fethiye, Kaş, Olympos, Kemer, Marmaris and Bodrum.

This page groups them by departure port and length, explains what each family of routes includes and lists the rules that differ from one cruise to another, so you can match the right route to your dates.

How a scheduled gulet cruise works

You book a place in a cabin, check in at the harbour on the departure day and live on board for the length of the cruise. Each day follows a programme of bays, swim stops and short visits ashore, with meals cooked on board as listed for that route. Most routes sail with a group of 12 to 20 guests, and on most of them there is no tour guide: the crew looks after you.

The programme is followed whenever possible, but in poor weather or sea conditions the captain can change the daily stops and overnight bays, with guest safety first.

Departures by port and weekday

 • Fethiye, Saturday: 3 days to Demre; 4 days to Olympos; 7 days Fethiye–Kekova–Fethiye; two 7-day weeks for ages 18–39; a 7-day yoga cruise; and 8 days one-way to Bodrum via Marmaris, Datça and Knidos.
 • Fethiye, Wednesday: 4 days to Marmaris through the Göcek bays.
 • Fethiye, diving cruise: 7 days through the Gulf of Fethiye and Göcek; the gulet leaves between 12:00 and 13:00.
 • Olympos, Tuesday: 3 days to Ölüdeniz, 4 days to Fethiye, or 8 days Olympos–Fethiye–Olympos. You are collected in Olympos and taken to Çayağzı harbour near Demre.
 • Kaş: 3 days to Fethiye (Wednesday) or 3 days to Olympos (Sunday).
 • Kemer, Saturday: 8 days to Kekova and back.
 • Marmaris, Saturday: 4 days to Fethiye, or 8 days Marmaris–Fethiye–Marmaris.
 • Bodrum, Saturday: 8 days round the Gulf of Gökova, or 8 days one-way to Fethiye.

Choose by length: 3, 4, 7 or 8 days

3 days, 2 nights is the shortest way to sail a stretch of the Lycian coast: Fethiye to Demre, Kaş to Fethiye, Kaş to Olympos or Olympos to Ölüdeniz. 4 days, 3 nights covers one direction of a longer route, Fethiye–Olympos or Fethiye–Marmaris in either direction, and ends at a different port from the one you started in.

7 days, 6 nights brings you back to Fethiye, with time for Kaş, Kekova and Demre or, on the diving and yoga weeks, the bays around Fethiye and Göcek. 8 days, 7 nights is a full week: round trips from Olympos, Marmaris, Kemer and Bodrum, or one-way between Bodrum and Fethiye. One-way routes work well if you are continuing your trip overland from the port where you finish.

Special-interest weeks: 18–39, diving and yoga

 • 18–39 cruises: two 7-day weeks from Fethiye are for guests aged 18 to 39 only. One follows the Kaş–Kekova–Demre route; the other adds a walk to Lycian Aperlai, a night out in Kaş and an island-bar evening. The 4-day crossings between Fethiye and Olympos and the 7-day Fethiye–Kekova week can also be booked in an 18–39 group.
 • Diving cruise: 7 days on a gulet of about 32 metres with 7 cabins for up to 14 guests, with a minimum of 14 dives including a night dive, and tanks and weight belts provided. Some sites are for experienced divers only; a discovery dive and certification courses are optional.
 • Yoga cruise: 7 days on a classic gulet with two yoga classes a day, mats provided, suitable for all levels. This gulet has no air conditioning and no Wi-Fi.

What is included on each family of routes

Lycian coast cruises (from Fethiye, Kaş and Olympos): a cabin with private bathroom and air conditioning that runs about 6 hours a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner as listed, 5 o’clock tea and fruit, drinking water, port taxes, bed linen and bath towels, Wi-Fi, and the use of paddleboards, snorkelling gear and fishing lines. Beach towels, bar drinks, entrance fees and optional activities are extra.

Marmaris and Bodrum Gökova cruises: a cabin with private bathroom and air conditioning for up to about 8 hours a day at times set by the captain, meals as listed, water, linen and towels, and snorkels and fishing tackle. A port charge is paid per person at booking, Wi-Fi costs extra, drinks go on a bar tab paid in cash at the end, and on nights in port where the programme says so, dinner is taken ashore.

Bodrum–Fethiye one-way cruises use a luxury-class gulet with air conditioning for 6–8 hours a day, unlimited internet, daily cleaning, mooring fees (private marinas excluded) and non-motorised water toys. Kemer–Kekova includes air-conditioned cabins, meals as listed, port procedures and Wi-Fi; bottled water and drinks are sold on board.

Before you book

 • Age limits: children under 10 are not permitted on the Marmaris and Bodrum Gökova cruises, and children under 6 not on the Kemer route.
 • Solo travellers: on the Lycian coast routes you can share a cabin or pay extra for a private one. On the Marmaris, Bodrum Gökova and Kemer routes there are no shared cabins, so solo travellers pay a single supplement.
 • Dietary needs: can be catered for on most routes if you tell us when you book, but not on the Kemer and Bodrum Gökova cruises.
 • Sunken City of Kekova: a protected site, so swimming, diving and snorkelling are not allowed over it.
 • Optional activities: tandem paragliding at Ölüdeniz and diving in Kaş are best booked before the cruise to secure a place.
 • Beach towels: bring your own on the Lycian coast routes, where only bath towels are provided.
