The Kaş to Fethiye gulet cruise is a short shared gulet trip for travellers who want a taste of life at sea without committing a whole week. You board in Kaş at 11:30 on a Wednesday, sail west for three days and two nights, and step ashore in Fethiye harbour around lunchtime on Day 3.
Before the boat leaves Kaş you have time to look around the small harbour town, whose shops sell handmade jewellery, leather goods and clothing by local makers. The first night is spent at anchor in Aquarium Bay, a sheltered spot with very clear water that is good for swimming and snorkelling. You wake up the next morning at Butterfly Valley, visit the beach at Ölüdeniz, where tandem paragliding is on offer, and finish the day at St Nicholas Island with a walk through its ruins at sunset. The last morning brings a final swim and lunch in Samanlık Bay or Tarzan Bay before the gulet heads into Fethiye.
You travel on a premium-class gulet with a mixed-age group of 12 to 20 guests. Cabins are double, twin, triple or shared, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning for about six hours a day. Solo travellers can share a cabin or pay extra for a private one. The crew cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner on board, and afternoon tea and fruit are served in between.

Check in at 11:30 in Kaş, the ancient Antiphellos; your exact meeting point is shown on your e-ticket. Lunch is served on board, and before departure there is time to browse the town's shops for handmade jewellery, leather goods and boutique clothing. The gulet then sails to Aquarium Bay, a sheltered bay with calm, very clear water and pine-covered hills around it. Swim and snorkel, have dinner on board and spend the night at anchor here. Meals: lunch, afternoon tea, fruit and dinner.
When you wake up, the gulet is anchored at Butterfly Valley. After breakfast there is time to swim, sunbathe or walk up to the waterfall; more than 136 kinds of butterflies and moths live here, although they are hard to spot in summer. Next comes the beach at Ölüdeniz, a well-known paragliding site, where you can take an optional tandem flight. In the evening the boat anchors at St Nicholas Island in time for water sports and Turkish pancakes sold by local women from small wooden boats, and you can walk up through the ruins in the late afternoon to watch the sunset. Meals: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, fruit and dinner.
Breakfast is served at St Nicholas Island. Spend the morning swimming, snorkelling along the rocky shore or walking the island's paths to the viewpoints. If you are continuing inland, we can help with add-on tours. Meals: breakfast and lunch.
