8 Days Turkey Tour – Explore Istanbul, Ephesus & More

At 09:00 AM, your guide will meet you at your hotel for a full-day walking tour through the historical heart of Istanbul. You will visit the Hagia Sophia, a breathtaking example of Byzantine architecture; the Blue Mosque, famous for its intricate blue Iznik tiles; and the Hippodrome, once the center of Byzantine public life. The tour continues with Topkapi Palace, the opulent residence of Ottoman sultans; the Basilica Cistern, an atmospheric underground reservoir; and the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. Your day begins with an early morning pickup at 5:00 AM for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to our office in Selcuk. At 09:30 AM, you will embark on a fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the most remarkable ancient cities in Turkey. Highlights of the tour include the Temple of Artemis—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the beautifully preserved Celsius Library, the grand Amphitheater, and the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be her final residence. After a fascinating day exploring these iconic sites, you will be transferred to your hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi to relax and enjoy your evening.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet your guide at 8:30 AM to begin a scenic 3-hour drive to Pamukkale. Upon arrival around noon, you'll stop for lunch before exploring the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your expert guide will walk you through the fascinating ruins, including the Temple of Apollo, the Roman Theater, and the Martyrion of St. Philip, revealing how ancient citizens once lived and thrived here. After the tour, you'll have free time to experience the striking white travertine terraces—famously known as the "Cotton Castle"—and relax in the warm mineral waters or enjoy a therapeutic swim in Cleopatra’s Pool. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to Antalya via a picturesque 4-hour drive. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in the charming Kaleici (Old Town) area and spend the evening at your leisure in this beautiful Mediterranean city.

Start your day with an early morning transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to Göreme to begin your full-day Northern Cappadocia Red Tour. Your journey starts at the UNESCO-listed Göreme Open Air Museum, where you'll explore 10th-century rock-cut churches decorated with vivid Byzantine frescoes. Then, visit Pasabag (Monks Valley), known for its towering fairy chimneys shaped by volcanic forces. Continue to Zelve Valley, an abandoned cave village showcasing homes, churches, and mosques carved into stone, offering a haunting yet captivating look into ancient life. Next, explore Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), where the whimsical rock formations resemble animals and figures, sparking creative interpretations. A stop in Avanos follows, a charming town famous for its centuries-old pottery traditions—enjoy a live demonstration and try shaping your own ceramic piece. Begin your final day in Cappadocia with an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride—an unforgettable 1-hour flight over the fairy chimneys, valleys, and surreal landscapes bathed in golden morning light. After this breathtaking experience, your full-day guided tour of Southern Cappadocia begins with a visit to Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in the region, offering panoramic views of the stunning terrain. Continue to Kızılçukur (Rose Valley), where you’ll hike through vibrant red rock formations and ancient cave churches that reflect centuries of history. Next, explore Çavuşin Village, one of the oldest Christian settlements in the region, known for its early cave homes and the historic Church of St. John the Baptist. From there, visit White Valley (Love Valley), famed for its unique rock formations and scenic views. Your journey then takes you into the depths of one of Cappadocia’s remarkable Underground Cities, such as Kaymaklı or Özkonak, where you’ll explore a network of rooms and tunnels once used for shelter and defense. After your tour concludes around 4:30–5:00 PM, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your 6:00 PM evening flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for your final night in Turkey.

On your final day, we will arrange your transfer from the hotel to the airport according to your international flight schedule. If your departure is later in the day, you have the option to join a half-day or full-day tour to make the most of your remaining time.
