This Perge Aspendos Side tour is a full day out from Antalya for travellers who want to see the main ancient sites of Pamphylia in one day with a guide, without arranging transport or tickets themselves. You are picked up at your hotel around 08:00 and are back at about 17:00, after visiting Perge, the Aspendos theatre, the coastal town of Side and Manavgat Waterfall.

The day begins at Perge, which served as the regional capital. Here you walk among its agora, Roman baths, theatre, colonnaded streets, water channels and stadium, and hear about the site’s links with St. Paul, who visited the city. From there the group drives to Aspendos, whose Roman theatre is remarkably well preserved and is still used for performances today.

Lunch with Turkish dishes is served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you continue to Side, a seaside town where ancient remains stand next to modern life; the Temple of Apollo and other Roman buildings are the highlights, and there is free time to explore on your own. The last stop is Manavgat Waterfall, a calm and scenic spot to stretch your legs before the drive back to your hotel.
