Ölüdeniz Paragliding: Tandem Flight from Babadağ

This Ölüdeniz paragliding experience is for adventurous travellers who want to see the coast from the air, flying in tandem with a licensed professional pilot. The day starts at a designated meeting point, from where you are driven up Babadağ Mountain, 1,960 metres above the coast.

How the flight works

At the take-off area the pilots give you a safety briefing and help you get ready with the full safety equipment. On a tandem flight you share the glider with your licensed pilot from take-off to landing.

After a smooth take-off you glide for 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the wind, with wide views of the turquoise sea and the green mountains around Ölüdeniz. The flight can include gentle spirals and smooth descents, or more thrilling acrobatic turns.

You touch down gently on Ölüdeniz Beach at the end of the flight.

Before you book

Plan for a full day: the flight itself lasts 20 to 40 minutes, but the experience is set up as a full-day activity, and there is no fixed group size.

There is a weight limit of 110 kg (242 lbs). The length of the flight depends on the wind conditions on the day.

Hotel transfers are not included: you make your own way to the designated meeting point, and the transfer up Babadağ starts from there. The meeting time depends on your location and is confirmed after booking.

Bookings are made in a single category for guests aged 10 and over. The experience is offered in English, with Turkish also available.

The professional pilot, full safety equipment, the flight itself and traffic insurance are included. Lunch and drinks are not included.
