This Fire of Anatolia show trip is an evening out for travellers staying in the Side area who want to see the Anadolu Ateşi dance company live, without worrying about tickets or transport. An air-conditioned bus picks you up at your hotel and brings you to the Aspendos Arena by 20:30; the show begins at 21:00 and you are back at your hotel before midnight.
Fire of Anatolia is a Turkish dance company of about 120 dancers. It has toured over 85 countries, including the USA and China, and has been seen live by more than 20 million people. Every year from April to November its two shows, “Evolution” and “Troy”, are staged in Aspendos. Through dance the company tells the history of Turkey and Anatolia, with fast-paced footwork that reaches 241 steps per minute.
When the bus is parked, your host shows you the meeting point and gives you your entrance ticket. You pass the security check with this ticket and choose your own seat, as there are no seat numbers. The performance of Turkish folk dances lasts about two hours, with a ten-minute break in the middle when you can buy food or drinks near the arena.
The price includes the hotel transfer, the entrance ticket, all taxes and traffic insurance. Drinks are not included.
