Day 1

Istanbul to Gallipoli – Gallipoli Day Tour (B,L)

Your journey begins at 6:30 AM with a hotel pickup in Istanbul, followed by a scenic drive to the Gallipoli Peninsula. Relax and enjoy breathtaking views of the Sea of Marmara as you travel. Around noon, you’ll arrive in the charming coastal town of Eceabat for a delicious lunch before starting your historical exploration.

Guided by an expert, you will walk along the hauntingly beautiful Gallipoli coast, retracing the footsteps of the ANZAC and Ottoman forces. Visit deserted battlefields, trenches, and significant memorial sites, paying tribute to the brave soldiers of the Gallipoli Campaign. Gain deep insight into the strategies, victories, and challenges faced by both sides, and hear inspiring stories of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the brilliant young Ottoman commander who played a pivotal role in the battle.

Day Trip of Troy and Pergamon / Transfer to Izmir Kusadasi (B,L)

Your day begins with an 8:30 AM hotel pickup, setting out to explore the legendary ancient city of Troy. With an expert guide, uncover the rich history spanning Troy I to Troy IX, marvel at the 3,700-year-old city walls, and visit notable sites including the Odeon, Bouleuterion, sacrificial altars, and the Houses of Troy I. Don’t miss the life-size replica of the Trojan Horse, where you can step inside and take photos.

At 10:30 AM, conclude your Troy visit and continue to Pergamon, a remarkable ancient city famed for its cultural and historical importance. After a lunch break around 1:30 PM, embark on a tour of Pergamon’s highlights: the Acropolis, the Library of Pergamon (once home to over 200,000 scrolls), the Temples of Athena and Trajan, the Altar of Zeus, the Hellenistic Theater—one of the steepest in the ancient world—the Gymnasium, Lower Agora, and the Temple of Dionysus.

Around 12:00 PM, you will arrive in the charming town of Pamukkale and enjoy a delicious lunch before exploring the UNESCO-listed ancient city of Hierapolis with an expert guide. Step back in time to discover the city’s rich history, including highlights such as the Temple of Apollo, the Grand Roman Theater, and the Martyrion of St. Philip.

Afterward, visit Pamukkale’s famous travertine terraces—breathtaking white limestone pools filled with mineral-rich thermal waters. Enjoy free time to relax, explore, and take a rejuvenating swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, an ancient thermal bath known for its healing properties.
