Our expert guide will pick you up from your hotel and lead you to some of the city’s most iconic sites. Visit the awe-inspiring Hagia Sophia, marvel at the beautiful Blue Mosque, and walk through the ancient Hippodrome, once the social center of Byzantine life. Explore the grand Topkapi Palace, home to Ottoman sultans, and soak up the lively atmosphere of the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Istanbul to Cappadocia Flight & Full-Day South Cappadocia Tour
Begin your day with an early morning transfer from your hotel at 4:00 AM to the airport for a one-hour flight to Cappadocia, departing at 7:00 AM. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to our office in Göreme to start a full-day tour showcasing the region’s natural beauty and rich history. Visit Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia, offering breathtaking panoramic views and a glimpse into its strategic past. Explore Rose Valley, famous for its stunning red rock formations and ancient cave churches, perfect for hiking and sunset views. Continue to Cavuşin Village, one of the earliest Christian settlements, home to the oldest church in Cappadocia and striking rock formations. Discover the surreal landscapes of Love Valley with its iconic fairy chimneys, then venture underground into the fascinating Özkonak or Kaymaklı Underground City, a refuge for ancient peoples featuring intricate tunnels and advanced ventilation systems. Finish the tour at Pigeon Valley, where you can see centuries-old pigeon houses carved into the rock, historically used to fertilize vineyards. Start your day with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the stunning landscapes of Cappadocia, beginning with a 5:30 AM hotel pickup and transfer to the balloon departure point. After an incredible flight, return to your hotel by 7:30 AM for breakfast before embarking on a full-day Northern Cappadocia tour at 9:30 AM. Explore breathtaking sights including Göreme Panorama with views of Uçhisar Castle, the Göreme Open-Air Museum featuring well-preserved rock-cut churches and frescoes, and the historic town of Avanos, known for its pottery tradition where you can watch a kick-wheel pottery demonstration and try crafting your own piece. Continue to Çavuşin Village to walk through ancient rock-cut houses, then visit Devrent Valley to see animal-shaped rock formations such as the Camel Rock. Day 7
Pamukkale Day Tour – Discover the Natural Wonder of Cotton Castle
Start your day with a 7:00 AM hotel pickup and travel to Pamukkale. Arrive around 9:30 AM to explore the stunning Pamukkale hot springs, known as the "Cotton Castle," famous for its dazzling terraces of mineral-rich white deposits formed over thousands of years. Walk along the thermal waters and enjoy this unique natural wonder. Next, visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can explore the impressive Roman baths, the Temple of Apollo, and the Theatre of Hierapolis with its panoramic views. Take a refreshing dip in Cleopatra’s Pool, a thermal spring believed to have healing powers, surrounded by ancient ruins. Enjoy a delicious traditional Turkish lunch at a local restaurant before concluding your tour and transferring back to your hotel in Kuşadası.
Day 8
Pergamon Day Tour & Transfer to Canakkale
Begin your day with a 9:00 AM hotel pickup and travel to Pergamon, one of Turkey’s most significant ancient cities. Explore the Pergamon Acropolis, featuring remarkable ruins such as the Temple of Zeus, the Library of Pergamon, and the ancient theater with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Discover the Asclepion, an ancient healing center dedicated to the god of medicine, Asclepius, and marvel at the well-preserved ruins of this historic medical complex. Enjoy a traditional Turkish lunch at a nearby restaurant before continuing your journey. After the tour, transfer to Canakkale, where you will check in to your hotel and have a relaxing evening in this charming city, renowned for its proximity to the historic Gallipoli Peninsula and Troy.
Day 9
Day tour of Troy and Gallipoli -Transfer to Istanbul (B,L)
You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:30 AM and begin the day visiting the ancient city of Troy. During the tour, you can explore the remains of Troy I through Troy IX, The Odeon, The Bouleuterion, the houses of Troy I, The 3,700 year old city walls, Sacrificial Altars and a life size replica of the Trojan Horse of which you can enter and take photos. At 10:30 AM you will finish the tour of Troy and continue on to Eceabat. At 1:30 PM you will stop for lunch before you begin your next tour. From there, your guide will take you up the hauntingly beautiful coast of Gallipoli. You will follow in the footsteps of the ANZAC and Ottoman forces, walking the now deserted battlefields and trenches and pay respects at the many memorials for all of the fallen soldiers. You will learn of the maneuvers of both sides, successful and failed and hear stories of the bright young Colonel of the Ottoman forces, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel in Istanbul.
