This Fethiye Kekova gulet cruise is a week-long round trip for travellers aged 12 and over who want their own cabin on a High Luxury class gulet, with meals, soft drinks and drinking water taken care of. You board in Fethiye harbour on the afternoon of Day 1, sail east past Ölüdeniz to Simena, the Sunken City of Kekova and Kaş, and return to Fethiye for the last night before leaving the boat on Day 8.
What sets this departure apart is the drinks arrangement: soft drinks and drinking water are served throughout the day alongside a full-board luxury menu of breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, fruit platters and desserts, and a welcome cocktail with champagne opens the week. Alcoholic drinks are not part of the package. Wines, champagnes, cocktails, spirits and beers can be bought at the bar on board, and outside drinks may not be brought on the boat.
The route follows the classic stretch of the Lycian coast: Butterfly Valley, the blue lagoon at Ölüdeniz, a night at St Nicholas Island, a climb to Simena Castle above Kaleköy, a slow pass over the submerged Byzantine ruins of Kekova, an evening in Kaş harbour and a last day of swimming in the Gulf of Göcek. If you would like more time on land, optional excursions take you to the rock tombs of Myra and the St Nicholas church at Demre, and to the ancient city of Xanthos and Saklıkent Gorge from the Kaş area.
You choose between Master and Superior cabins. All are air-conditioned with a private bathroom and are made up every day. Snorkelling gear is on board for guests to share, the gulet usually has an indoor saloon as well as outdoor lounges and sunbeds, Wi-Fi is free, and water sports are included at selected bays in the early evening.

Check-in on board starts from around 15:00. The crew greets you with a welcome drink and introduces the gulet and your fellow guests. The boat stays in Fethiye harbour tonight, so the afternoon is free to wander through the old town, see the ancient theatre or walk up to the Lycian rock tombs. Meals on board: dinner.
After breakfast the gulet leaves Fethiye for Butterfly Valley, where lunch is served. Afterwards you can spend time on the beach or take the optional hike up to the waterfall; a small local fee goes to the valley's eco projects, and you may see many kinds of moths and butterflies along the way. Next comes Ölüdeniz with its blue lagoon, where paragliding is available as an optional activity. The gulet anchors at St Nicholas Island in time for water sports and sunset, and the crew takes you ashore to explore the ruins that cover the island and find the best sunset viewpoint. An early start brings you to Tersane Bay for a swim and lunch. In the afternoon you reach the fishing village of Kaleköy, where you can climb to the medieval castle of Simena, see its small, well-kept ancient theatre and look back over the water you have sailed. After breakfast the gulet follows the Lycian coast towards Demre, where you can join an optional excursion to the rock tombs of Myra and the St Nicholas monument and church. The cruise then continues past the Sunken City of Kekova, where parts of a Byzantine city lie beneath the water, and anchors for the night in Gökkaya Bay. Meals on board: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A relaxed day of moving from bay to bay, with breakfast, lunch and several swim breaks in different coves, before the gulet arrives in Kaş harbour in the afternoon. There is time to stroll the colourful cobbled streets lined with bougainvillea and browse shops selling Turkish scarves, designer clothing and the silver jewellery Kaş is known for. Breakfast is served in Kaş harbour, then the gulet sails to a small bay on the way to Kalkan for a swim. From here you can take an optional excursion to the ancient city of Xanthos and the long gorge of Saklıkent. Another early departure takes you into the Gulf of Göcek, with beaches and turquoise water to enjoy at a series of swim stops through the day.
