This 9 day Jordan and Holy Land tour is for pilgrims who want the full Galilee-to-Jerusalem route plus an extra day in the Jerusalem area. You land at Queen Alia International Airport and go straight to Madaba, Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea; after one night in Jordan you cross King Hussein Bridge for two nights in Galilee and then five nights in Bethlehem.
The fifth night in Bethlehem is what sets this itinerary apart. After days in Hebron and at the Church of the Nativity, on the Mount of Olives and Mount Zion, and in Jerusalem’s Old City, you visit Ein Karem, traditionally the birthplace of John the Baptist, together with the Holocaust Museum, the Shrine of the Book and the Temple Institute.
In the north, the Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Capernaum, a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, Cana and Mount Tabor are all on the program, and the drive south passes Mount Carmel, Caesarea Maritima and Jaffa. Your last morning brings you to the Baptism Site on the Jordan River before the border crossing and your transfer to the airport.
