This Jordan eco tour is for travellers who want to see the country through its landscapes, conservation work and rural life. Over eight days and seven nights from Queen Alia International Airport, it visits the Ajloun Forest Reserve, Jerash and its countryside, the Dana Biosphere Reserve, Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea.
You walk forest trails in Ajloun with a guide and visit a local community or handicraft project, then combine Roman Jerash with a farm or traditional village visit. In Dana a guided hike introduces the reserve’s landscapes, biodiversity and conservation projects, with panoramic mountain views.
In Petra you walk the Siq to the Treasury and learn how the Nabataeans lived with the desert and managed its water. Two nights in Wadi Rum include a guided 4×4 excursion with short walks, a traditional Bedouin dinner and stargazing when the weather allows, with the second night at an eco-camp. The last night is at the Dead Sea. Breakfast is included daily from Day 2, plus the Bedouin dinner on Day 6.
