This Jordan and Jerusalem Islamic tour is for travellers who want to combine Jordan’s Islamic heritage with prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. It starts at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman and lasts eight days and seven nights: three nights in Jordan and four in Jerusalem, with meals marked on each day.
In Jordan you visit the shrines of the Companions Abd al-Rahman bin Awf and Bilal bin Rabah, the Umayyad desert castles and the Blessed Tree. You then cross the Allenby (King Hussein) Bridge to Jericho and the shrine of Nabi Musa, reaching Jerusalem in time for the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
A full day in the Old City covers the Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the old markets and the Mosque of Omar. Further days take you to Bethlehem, to the mosque and shrine of Prophet Ibrahim in Hebron and the shrine of Nabi Dawood, and to Jaffa’s Mahmoudiya Mosque. On the way back you stop at the Dead Sea, and the last morning brings the Cave of the Seven Sleepers and the shrine of Prophet Shu’ayb.

Our representative meets you at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman and assists you on arrival. Begin with a panoramic tour of Amman, the capital of Jordan, including downtown and the old part of the city. Transfer to your hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight. Meals: dinner.
Spend a full day visiting the shrines of the Companions Abd al-Rahman bin Awf and Bilal bin Rabah. Then drive east to the Umayyad desert castles, fortified palaces built in the former Umayyad province of Bilad al-Sham and scattered across the arid east of Jordan. Continue to the Blessed Tree, still standing in eastern Jordan and regarded as the last living tree from the time of the Companions, under which the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sat on his journey to Syria. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Transfer to the Allenby (King Hussein) Bridge and cross the border. Drive to Jericho, a Palestinian city near the Jordan River in the West Bank that is believed to be one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. After lunch, visit the shrine of Nabi Musa, then continue to Jerusalem for a short visit to the city and the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
A full day in Jerusalem's Old City, home to the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Visit the old markets and the Mosque of Omar, and keep the rest of the day for prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Spend the day in Bethlehem, a Palestinian town south of Jerusalem in the West Bank and the birthplace of Jesus (peace be upon him). A silver star in a grotto beneath the 6th-century Church of the Nativity marks the place of his birth, and the church shares Manger Square with the Church of St. Catherine. Drive on to Hebron to visit the mosque and shrine of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), then to the shrine of Nabi Dawood. Return to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Drive to Jaffa, an ancient port city on a hill 40 metres (130 feet) above the coast with a wide view of the shoreline; archaeological evidence shows people have lived here for around 7,500 years. Visit the Mahmoudiya Mosque, the largest and most significant mosque in Jaffa, which is now part of Tel Aviv; its buildings, gates and courtyards were built in stages under Ottoman rule in the 18th and 19th centuries. Drive back to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Return to the border and cross back into Jordan. Drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on dry land at more than 400 metres below sea level. Its very salty water makes floating easy, and its mineral-rich black mud is used for therapeutic and cosmetic treatments at the resorts. Continue to Amman for dinner and overnight. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, visit the Cave of the Seven Sleepers (Ashab al-Kahf) in Abu Alanda, Amman, where, as Surah al-Kahf tells, a group of pious young men took refuge from a tyrannical pagan king and Allah caused them to sleep for 309 years. Drive to the shrine of Prophet Shu'ayb (peace be upon him), then to the airport, where our representative assists you again with your departure. Meals: breakfast.
