6 Days 5 Nights
Islamic Tour

This 6 day Jordan Islamic tour is aimed at Muslim travellers and study groups who want the fullest picture of early Islamic history in Jordan without changing hotels. From Amman airport you stay all five nights in the capital and travel to two great battlefields, the shrines of two prophets and five Companions, the Cave of the Seven Sleepers, the Umayyad desert castles and the Blessed Tree, with time at the Dead Sea on the first day.
What this program adds to our five-day version is the north. On the fifth day, after the shrines of Abd al-Rahman bin Awf and Bilal bin Rabah, you drive to the Yarmouk battlefield, where the Muslim army defeated the Byzantines in 636 CE in the battle that opened Bilad al-Sham to Islam. Together with Mu’tah, scene of the battle of 629 CE and the shrines of Zaid bin Harithah, Ja’far bin Abi Talib (al-Tayyar) and Abdullah bin Rawahah, it gives the tour its focus on the early campaigns.
The last morning is kept for a panoramic tour of Amman, with a stop downtown, its old markets and a view of the Roman Theatre, before your flight. Lunch is included every day, with breakfast and dinner as shown in the itinerary.
