This 5 day Jordan tour package suits travellers who prefer to keep the same hotel city for most of the trip and leave it for just one adventurous night in the desert. From Amman airport, you spend day two on Madaba, Mount Nebo and an Amman city tour, travel south to Petra and a Wadi Rum desert camp on day three, and return north via the Dead Sea on day four.
Three of your four nights are in Amman, so there is less packing and unpacking, while the night at the Bedouin-style camp gives you the experience of the desert after a full day in Petra. The Dead Sea is a stop with time to float on the drive back.
Breakfast and dinner are included on the days shown, and our representative assists you at Amman airport on arrival and departure.

Start in Madaba, the 'City of Mosaics', where the Church of St. George preserves a 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land, and take in the view over the Jordan Valley towards Jericho and Jerusalem. Drive south for a full day in Petra, the rose-red Nabataean city and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. After a short ride on horseback, walk the Siq to the Treasury and continue past the Street of Facades, the Theatre and the Royal Tombs; the light is richest early and late in the day. In the evening, reach a desert camp in Wadi Rum for a Bedouin-style dinner, traditional music and a night beneath the desert sky. (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast at camp, explore Wadi Rum, the 'Valley of the Moon', on a 2-hour 4x4 jeep tour among sandstone and granite mountains, red dunes, natural arches and ancient inscriptions left by the Nabataeans and earlier peoples.
