This Petra and Wadi Rum tour is for travellers who want both the rose-red city and a night in the desert in a short trip. It starts at Amman airport, lasts four days and three nights, and covers Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea, with breakfast and dinner marked on each day.
After your first night in Amman you drive south for a full day in Petra, from a short horseback ride and the Siq to the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Theatre and the Royal Tombs. In the evening you reach a desert camp in Wadi Rum for a Bedouin-style dinner, traditional music and a night under the desert sky.
The next morning a 2-hour 4×4 jeep tour takes you through the “Valley of the Moon”, past dunes, natural arches and ancient rock inscriptions. Driving north, you stop at the Dead Sea to float in the water before your last night in Amman.

The route passes sandstone and granite mountains, red dunes, natural arches and ancient rock inscriptions left by the Nabataeans and the peoples before them. Drive north to the Dead Sea for time to float in the water, then continue to Amman for dinner and overnight. Meals: breakfast, dinner.
