This 4 day Jordan tour is for travellers who want Petra, the Wadi Rum desert and the biblical sights around Madaba in one short trip, starting and ending at Amman airport. You spend a full day in Petra, sleep at a desert camp in Wadi Rum, explore the desert by 4×4, then head north to Madaba and Mount Nebo before your last night at the Dead Sea.
Each of your three nights is in a different place: Amman on arrival, a Bedouin-style camp in Wadi Rum, and a hotel at the Dead Sea. That makes this the right choice if you would rather finish the trip by the water than in the city. Breakfast and dinner are included as shown in the day-by-day program.

Head south for a full day at Petra, the city the Nabataeans carved from rose-red rock and today one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The visit begins with a short ride on horseback; from there you continue on foot through the narrow Siq until the Treasury appears, then carry on past the Street of Facades, the Theatre and the Royal Tombs. Early morning and late afternoon bring the best light on the stone. In the evening you reach a desert camp in Wadi Rum for a Bedouin-style dinner and traditional music, and you sleep under the desert sky. (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast at camp, a 2-hour 4x4 jeep tour takes you across Wadi Rum, known as the 'Valley of the Moon': sandstone and granite mountains, red dunes, natural rock arches and inscriptions carved by the Nabataeans and peoples before them. Driving north, you stop in Madaba, the 'City of Mosaics', to see the 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land in the Church of St. George. Next is Mount Nebo, where Moses looked out over the Promised Land; the view stretches across the Jordan Valley towards Jericho and Jerusalem.
