Built for travellers who want to reach Petra as soon as they land, this 4 day Jordan tour package drives you from Amman airport down the Desert Highway to Petra on the first evening. Over the next three days you explore Petra, spend a night at a desert camp in Wadi Rum, take a jeep tour, visit Madaba and Mount Nebo, stay at the Dead Sea, and finish with a panoramic tour of Amman before your flight.
Because your first night is already in Petra, you wake up close to the site and have a full day there. The route then runs south to north, so you see the capital at the very end rather than at the start: the old markets of downtown and the Roman Theatre are your last stops in Jordan.
Nights are spent in Petra, Wadi Rum and at the Dead Sea, one each, with breakfast and dinner included as listed in the program.

Spend the whole day in Petra, the rose-red city of the Nabataeans and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. A short horse ride starts the visit, then you walk the Siq to the Treasury and continue along the Street of Facades to the Theatre and the Royal Tombs. The stone looks its best in the soft light of early morning and late afternoon. Later, continue to a Wadi Rum desert camp for a Bedouin-style dinner, an evening of traditional music and a night under the desert sky. (Breakfast, Dinner)
After breakfast at the camp, set out on a 2-hour 4x4 jeep tour of Wadi Rum, the 'Valley of the Moon', with its sandstone and granite mountains, red dunes, natural arches and rock inscriptions left by the Nabataeans and earlier peoples. Heading north, stop in Madaba, the 'City of Mosaics', where the Church of St. George holds a 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. At Mount Nebo, the place where Moses viewed the Promised Land, look out over the Jordan Valley towards Jericho and Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight are at the Dead Sea. (Breakfast, Dinner)
