This eleven-day Holy Land and Jordan pilgrimage suits travellers who want the main Gospel sites of the Holy Land and a fuller picture of Christian Jordan. You land at Tel Aviv airport, base yourself in Bethlehem for five nights and in Tiberias for two, then cross into Jordan for three nights in Amman before flying home from Jordan.
The Bethlehem days cover the Mount of Olives and Mount Zion, Hebron and Shepherds’ Field, Ein Karem, Jericho and an hour at the Dead Sea, and a full day in Jerusalem’s Old City ending with a communion service at the Garden Tomb. A coastal day via Jaffa, Caesarea and Mount Carmel continues to Cana, and the next day is spent around the Sea of Galilee with a boat ride, the Baptism Site and Mount Tabor.
The extra Jordan night is the key difference of this option. After Madaba, Mount Nebo, Mukawir and Umm ar-Rasas, you spend a day in the north at Roman Jerash, the shrine of Our Lady of the Mountain in Anjara and Umm Qais, ancient Gadara, before a final city tour of Amman.

After landing at Tel Aviv airport you are driven to your hotel in Bethlehem. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
The day opens on the Mount of Olives with the Chapel of the Ascension and the Pater Noster, linked with Jesus teaching his disciples the Lord's Prayer, and a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Walking the Palm Sunday road, you reach the Garden and Church of Gethsemane. Mount Zion follows with the Upper Room and the Tomb of King David, and then St. Peter in Gallicantu, the House of Caiaphas. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
In Hebron, subject to permission, you visit the Tombs of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, and then stop at King Solomon's Pools. The afternoon, after lunch, is for Shepherds' Field and the Church of the Nativity. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Ein Karem is revered as the birthplace of St. John the Baptist; you visit the Church of the Visitation, where Mary came to the house of Zechariah, and Mary's Well. In Jericho, called the oldest city in the world, you see the Mount of Temptation and the Sycamore Tree, then spend an hour floating and relaxing at the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
A full day in the Old City. Through the Dung Gate you enter the Jewish Quarter and reach the Western Wall, then visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. You continue to St. Anne's Church and the Pool of Bethesda and walk the Way of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon a communion service and prayer take place at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
Check out for a full coastal day. Jaffa, an ancient harbour 40 metres above the sea and settled for some 7,500 years, comes first, with a look at Tel Aviv. At Caesarea, King Herod's Roman capital, you see the aqueducts, and on Mount Carmel the Muhraka, where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal, the Cave of Elijah and Stella Maris. You end the day at the Wedding Church in Cana of Galilee before checking in at Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
A day around the Sea of Galilee: the Mount of Beatitudes, the Church of the Multiplication at Tabgha, the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter and Capernaum, the town of Jesus, with a boat ride on the lake. You then visit the Baptism Site on the Jordan River, where Jesus was baptised, return to the Wedding Church and finish on Mount Tabor, the Mount of Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.
Check out and travel south through the Jordan Valley, with a view of Mount Gilboa, where King Saul and his sons died. At the Jordan border our staff meet and assist you, and you transfer to Amman for dinner and overnight.
Madaba, a Moabite border town that later became part of the Roman province of Arabia, is known for its mosaics. Mount Nebo, where Prophet Musa (Moses) looked out over the Promised Land, gives a broad view of the Holy Land and the Jordan Valley. At Mukawir (Machaerus), Herod Antipas' fortress high above the Dead Sea, John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded (Matthew 14:3–11); on clear nights the lights of Jerusalem and Jericho are visible. You end at Umm ar-Rasas (Kastron Mefa'a), a UNESCO World Heritage site on the semi-arid steppe tied to biblical Mephaath, with Roman, Byzantine and early Islamic remains and mosaics. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
A full day in northern Jordan starts at Jerash, inhabited since the Bronze Age and known for the Greco-Roman ruins of Gerasa, including Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Artemis and the oval colonnade of the Forum. In Anjara, Our Lady of the Mountain marks the cave where, by tradition, Jesus, his disciples and the Virgin Mary rested while crossing the hills of Gilead; the shrine was one of the five Jubilee pilgrimage sites of the year 2000. The last visit is Umm Qais, ancient Gadara, one of the Decapolis cities. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
