Ten days give you time to experience Jordan at a relaxed but active pace. This 10 day Jordan adventure tour starts and ends at Amman airport and is ideal for walkers, wildlife lovers and anyone who wants both desert and sea: you explore the eastern desert and its reserves, the Mujib canyons, the highland trails of Dana and Feynan, a full day in Petra, a jeep tour and camp night in Wadi Rum, and two nights on the Red Sea.
Two things make this the most complete of our adventure programs. Instead of the ecolodge, you spend a night in Dana itself, a mountain village known for its culture and scenery, and walk from there towards Feynan. And at the end you have two nights in Aqaba, with a full day for swimming, snorkelling or diving and a free morning for shopping in the tax-free zone before you head back to Amman.
Breakfast and dinner are included every day as shown in the itinerary, from the first evening in Amman to the last breakfast before your flight.

Our representative meets you at Amman airport. Begin with the Citadel, the Roman Theatre and the old city, with free time downtown, then drive to As-Salt, a historic hill town of honey-coloured stone on the old route from Amman to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
Head east to the Umayyad desert castles and on to the Azraq Wetland Reserve, a restored oasis that migrating birds rely on. Then visit the Shaumari Wildlife Reserve, where Arabian oryx, ostriches, onagers and gazelles are bred; an oryx safari of about two hours is available as an option. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight.
Descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, and continue to the Mujib Biosphere Reserve, the world's lowest nature reserve, whose river canyons with pools, rock climbs and waterfalls offer some of Jordan's most exciting hikes; the water trail is an optional extra. Drive south to the Dana Biosphere Reserve and its mountain village, rich in culture and natural beauty, for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast in Dana, take to the trails of the Dana Biosphere Reserve and Feynan. There are easy walks and more demanding hikes, passing terraced gardens and artisan workshops in an area prized for bird-watching. Guided trails can be arranged on request. Continue to Petra for dinner and overnight.
A full day in the rose-red city of the Nabataeans, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. A short horse ride starts the visit, then you walk the Siq to the Treasury and continue past the Street of Facades, the Theatre and the Royal Tombs. Early morning and late afternoon bring the best light. Dinner and a second night in Petra.
Travel to Wadi Rum, the 'Valley of the Moon', and explore it on a 2-hour 4x4 jeep tour among red dunes, granite mountains and ancient rock inscriptions. The evening brings a Bedouin dinner with folklore and a night at the desert camp.
After breakfast at camp, choose optional activities in Wadi Rum: trekking, hiking, a camel ride, another jeep safari, or a flight over the desert by hot-air balloon or microlight. Continue to Aqaba on the Red Sea for dinner and overnight.
A day in Aqaba to visit the town and pick from optional activities such as swimming, snorkelling, diving among the coral reefs, a glass-bottom boat trip, or a scenic flight from King Hussein Airport with a qualified instructor. Dinner and a second night in Aqaba.
Spend a free morning shopping in Aqaba, which is a tax-free zone, then drive north to Amman for dinner and overnight.
