Your day begins with a scenic pick-up from your hotel, followed by visits to the landmarks that make Cappadocia world-famous:
Göreme Panorama – Capture stunning views of fairy chimneys and cave houses from one of the best viewpoints in the region.
Göreme Open-Air Museum (UNESCO) – Explore ancient rock-cut churches, chapels, and monasteries decorated with Byzantine frescoes dating back to the 10th–13th centuries.
Avanos Pottery Village – Discover pottery traditions from the Hittite era and watch artisans shape red clay sourced from the Kızılırmak River.
Devrent (Imagination) Valley – Walk through surreal rock formations resembling animals, mushrooms, and fantastical shapes created by volcanic erosion.
Paşabağ (Monks Valley) – See the iconic three-headed fairy chimneys and learn about the hermits who once lived inside these unique formations.
Ortahisar Castle – Enjoy a panoramic hilltop view over Cappadocia from a dramatic rock fortress that once guarded the ancient settlement.

Full day tour of the Northern Part of Cappadocia
Goreme Panorama: A panoramic viewpoint offering a wonderful view of Goreme town with its spectacular cave houses.
Open Air Museum: The first and largest monastery complex where religious education began. You will visit churches, chapels, and monasteries carved into fairy chimneys, with frescoes dating from the 10th to 13th centuries. In the 4th century, three important figures established a new unity here: St. Basil the Great, the bishop of Kayseri; his brother St. Gregory of Nyssa; and St. George of Nazianus.
Avanos: Famous for pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay used by local craftsmen comes from the deposits of the Kizilirmak River. Kizilirmak, which flows through Avanos, is the longest river in Turkey.
Devrent Valley: Known for its various types of fairy chimneys, including those shaped like caps, cones, mushrooms, pillars, and pointed rocks. Formed by the erosion of tuff through the action of volcanoes, rivers, wind, and floodwaters, these formations are famously known as “fairy chimneys.” We will take a walk through this remarkable valley.
Pasabaglari (Monks Valley): Home to many fairy chimneys with multiple stems and caps, a unique formation found only in this area. A chapel dedicated to St. Simeon and a hermit’s shelter are carved into one of these three-headed fairy chimneys.
Ortahisar Castle: A beautiful viewpoint overlooking Ortahisar town. The castle and its surroundings were once the most populated part of the settlement, built to watch for enemies. The top of the citadel offers a magnificent panorama of the region.
