Check-in for the Gulet Cruise starts from 9:00 am to 10:30 am; you will receive the final time and meeting details before departure. Following check-in at the office, we will head to the harbour for a briefing, meet the crew and take off. Our first stop is Butterfly Valley, where you will have your first lunch, enjoy a refreshing swim, and hike up to the waterfall as you wish.

Butterfly Valley (Kelebekler Vadisi), is a stunning hidden gorge surrounded by steep cliffs up to 350 meters high. Accessible only by boat, it’s named after the many butterfly species found there, especially the Jersey Tiger. The valley features a pristine beach, turquoise waters, and a small stream leading to waterfalls, making it a popular spot for swimming, hiking, and camping in a natural, untouched setting. Guests may encounter a variety of moths and butterflies during the walk, depending on the time of year.

Oludeniz, home to the world-famous Blue Lagoon, is often referred to as the most photographed beach in Europe. With its calm, turquoise waters framed by lush green mountains, it’s a paradise for swimming, paragliding, and soaking in some of Turkey’s most iconic coastal scenery.

Optional Activity: Paragliding Blue Lagoon
In Oludeniz, you have the option to go paragliding. It is a 30-45 minute flight; take off from Babadag Mountain, 2,000 meters above, and fly over Oludeniz Beach and Blue Lagoon. It is easy to know why paragliding here is the best in the world! Pre-booking is essential to secure your spot.

On our first evening, we’ll anchor at St. Nicholas Island, famed for its ancient ruins and one of Turkey’s most stunning sunsets. Among pine-covered slopes, you’ll discover centuries-old chapels and stone remains before reaching the summit, where a Byzantine Amphitheatre offers a breathtaking front-row seat to the glowing sun sinking into the sea.

Caretta Caretta  Walking Trekking  Entrance Fee  Watersports  Historical Site

After a leisurely breakfast in the peaceful surroundings of Kekova, we set sail towards the intriguing Sunken City (an underwater ancient city).

The sunken City is a remarkable 2,400-year-old Lycian settlement slipped beneath the sea after a series of earthquakes between the 2nd and 8th centuries. As we glide along the shoreline, you’ll see ancient walls, staircases, and harbours lying just below the surface, framed by the dazzling turquoise waters of Kekova Bay. Our journey then brings us to the picturesque village of Kalekoy Village (ancient Simena), also home to Simena Castle, home to fewer than 50 houses and accessible only by boat or on foot. Along the waterfront, striking Lycian sarcophagi rise from the shallows, silent reminders of a civilisation that thrived here centuries ago. Wandering the narrow bougainvillaea-lined paths of the village, you’ll soon reach Simena Castle, a medieval fortress built upon Lycian foundations. From its hilltop vantage point, breathtaking views unfold across the Kekova archipelago, dotted with countless islets and bays. Before descending, pause to enjoy one of the village’s famed homemade ice creams, with fig and peach flavours being local favourites. In the afternoon, we continue to the serene Gokkaya Bay, where pine-clad hills give way to a scattering of tranquil islets. This secluded anchorage is perfect for swimming in crystal-clear waters or simply relaxing on deck, immersed in nature’s calm. Optionally, you could visit Smugglers Inn Bar at night, a rustic bar set on a remote island, accessible only by boat, with music, dancing, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere under the stars.

Today is an easy start. Start your morning with a swim and enjoy another delicious breakfast spread. After breakfast, the gulet will cruise towards Demre Cayagzi Harbour, where we will moor before lunchtime. It is time to bid farewell to fellow passengers who are just completing the four-day cruise and welcome new arrivals.

Throughout this time, we will cruise to Karemlik Turtles Bay to see some Caretta caretta turtles, snorkel, and relax. You may also visit Demre Cayagzi harbour, where you can explore the market or enjoy Turkish tea at a local café.

In the afternoon, we will cruise back to Kalekoy via the Sunken City, where you can take paddleboards to the Lycian Tombs or head east of the town to view the Lycian Tombs, which stand majestically in the water.

Later in the day, we anchor back down in Gokkaya Bay. This is a turtle breeding ground, so be cautious of these majestic creatures while swimming. Tonight, you have the option to revisit the Smugglers Inn bar for another party night.

This morning, wake up to the vivid blue waters of Butterfly Valley, one of the most breathtaking natural wonders along the coast. Nestled between towering cliffs that rise 350 meters high, the valley takes its name from the rare Jersey Tiger butterflies that can be spotted here during the summer months. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea or take an optional hike up the shaded trail leading to a hidden waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery. It’s a peaceful and invigorating start to the day.

From here, we continue to Oludeniz and its famous Blue Lagoon, often described as the most photographed beach in the world. With its calm, turquoise waters and sweeping white sandbar, the lagoon is a true icon of the Turkish coast. You’ll have time to swim, relax on the beach, or soak up the spectacular scenery that has made Ölüdeniz a destination in its own right.

As the day winds down, we make our way to St. Nicholas Island (Gemiler Island), steeped in history and legend. This island is home to the ruins of several early Christian churches, dating back to the 4th and 5th centuries, which are linked to St. Nicholas—the inspiration behind Santa Claus. Wander through the atmospheric remains of ancient chapels and tombs scattered across the island, or follow the path up to Sunset Point for an unforgettable panoramic view. As the sun sinks into the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold and crimson, it’s the perfect setting to reflect on a day filled with natural beauty, history, and unforgettable coastal landscapes.
