Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel and a transfer to the airport for a one-hour flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted at the airport with a personalized welcome sign and transferred to our local office in Selçuk. At 9:30 AM, you’ll depart on a fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. Highlights of the tour include the legendary Temple of Artemis—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—the Grand Amphitheater, the beautifully preserved Celsius Library, and the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be her final place of residence. After a lunch break and a complete exploration of the site, your tour will conclude around 5:00 PM. From there, you will board a comfortable bus for your transfer to Pamukkale, where you will check into your hotel and have the evening free to relax.
After breakfast at your hotel, begin a full-day tour to important historical and spiritual sites in Western Turkey. First, visit Hierapolis to see the Asklepion healing center, the acropolis, ancient theater, Temple of Athena, and the Altar of Zeus, called the “Throne of Satan” in the Book of Revelation. After a scenic drive and lunch at a local restaurant, head to Thyatira, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, known for strong faith. Continue to Sardis, once the capital of Lydia, to explore the Temple of Cybele and Diana, a synagogue, and a Roman gymnasium. End the day at Philadelphia, a city known for its lasting Christian roots. After the tour, you will be taken to your hotel in Bergama.
Following breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full-day guided tour exploring the ancient wonders of Pergamon and the vibrant city of Izmir. Begin your journey with a visit to the ruins of Pergamon, once a powerful ancient Greek city known for its cultural and scientific achievements.
