At 5:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel in Antalya (City Center Hotels) and transferred to the airport for an 8:00 AM flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be taken to our office in Göreme town before starting the Southern Cappadocia day tour at 10 AM. The tour begins with a visit to the Derinkuyu & Kaymaklı Underground City , an impressive multi-level structure carved deep into the earth, used as a refuge during ancient times. Next, explore the Kızılçukur (Red) Valley, famous for its striking colors, unique rock formations, and hidden cave churches.
You will then enjoy panoramic views at Göreme Panorama, one of the best viewpoints in Cappadocia for unforgettable photos. The tour continues to Pigeon Valley, where thousands of pigeon houses are carved into the cliffs, creating a truly scenic landscape.
A riverside lunch at a local restaurant provides the perfect break before continuing your adventure. After a day filled with breathtaking sights, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Göreme, leaving the evening free to relax and enjoy at your leisure.
If you choose the optional Hot Air Balloon Ride, you will be picked up from your hotel at 5:30 AM and transferred to the balloon departure site. The flight lasts approximately one hour, concluding around 7:30 AM, after which you will return to your hotel for breakfast and some time to relax.
At 10 AM, your guide will pick you up for the Northern Cappadocia tour, beginning with a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Göreme and Uçhisar Castle. The tour continues to the UNESCO-listed Göreme Open-Air Museum, where ancient rock-cut churches and vibrant frescoes await.
Next, enjoy lunch in the charming town of Avanos, followed by a traditional kick-wheel pottery demonstration, with the opportunity to try pottery making yourself. On the return journey, the tour stops at several photo-worthy locations, including Çavuşin Village, the animal-shaped rock formations in Devrent Valley, the unique fairy chimneys of Paşabağ (Monks Valley), and St. Simeon’s monk cell.
At the end of the day, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Antalya or Istanbul. Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and relaxing end to your Cappadocia adventure.
