During the semester break, Erciyes Ski Center, recognized as one of Turkey’s winter tourism centers, welcomed an impressive 1 million 500 thousand visitors.
Boasting 112 kilometers of ski tracks and 19 mechanical facilities, Erciyes Ski Center draws both local and foreign tourists alike. Additionally, cable car lines reaching an altitude of 3,400 meters offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
The safety and security of visitors, both domestic and international, are ensured by the dedicated teams affiliated with the Melikgazi District Gendarmerie Command.
During the 15-day period encompassing the semester break, approximately 1 million 500 thousand visitors flocked to Erciyes Ski Center, one of Turkey’s winter tourism centers.

Throughout this bustling period, a total of 850 individuals, including those who were injured, lost, stranded, or involved in public order incidents, received assistance from JAK Teams, Gendarmerie Public Order Teams, and Traffic Teams.
Citizens injured or stranded in the track area were safely transported from their positions by snowmobiles operated by the gendarmerie teams and promptly delivered to medical personnel for further assistance.
