Parts of Deli Lake have frozen due to the recent cold weather in Kars. The inhabitants waltz on the smooth ice as they rise above the frigid lake. As temperatures dipped to – 18 degrees Celsius, Deli Lake froze. The lake, which froze in half, drew a lot of attention from residents.
Outsiders flocked to Deli Lake, where a thin layer of ice had risen above the surface. The residents danced on the ice after being startled by the ice crunch. People enjoying themselves while wandering on the snowy surface of the lake, which amazes visitors with its spectacular vista and breathtaking blue, while some locals took several photographs. Metehan Genç, who travelled from Rize to Kars, stated:
“We wanted to see the frozen state of Deli Lake. It’s frozen, but we can’t trust it. I want to go away, but I can’t. I feel nervous, I go a little more, I get more nervous.”
