Ephesus Day Tour from Istanbul – Visit Ancient Wonders and the House of Mary
Your day begins early with a 5:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Istanbul. You’ll go to the airport and take a short one-hour flight to Izmir with Turkish Airlines. When you arrive, we’ll meet you at the airport and drive you to Selcuk town, where the ancient city of Ephesus is located. Then, your small group tour will begin.
You’ll visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. See one of the largest amphitheaters from ancient times. Explore the famous Celsus Library, which still stands today. Walk through many other amazing ruins of this ancient city.
Next, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be where she spent her last years. After the Ephesus Day Tour from Istanbul, we’ll take you back to the Izmir airport for your evening flight to Istanbul. Once you arrive, we’ll meet you again and drive you to your hotel.
