Itineraries

Day 1

Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia with Full-Day Southern Cappadocia (Green Tour) and Overnight Stay in Göreme (L)

Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Istanbul at 5:00 AM for your domestic flight to Cappadocia at 7:00 AM. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to our local office in Göreme, where you will embark on the Southern Cappadocia (Green) Tour—an immersive journey through the region’s most captivating natural and historical landmarks. Tour highlights include a guided exploration of the Kaymaklı or Derinkuyu Underground City, an ancient, multi-level refuge carved deep into the earth; a scenic hike through Rose Valley, known for its colorful rock formations and hidden cave churches; panoramic views from Pigeon Valley, where thousands of pigeon houses are carved into the cliffs; a visit to Çavuşin Village, home to rock-cut dwellings and Byzantine-era churches; and the surreal landscape of Love Valley, renowned for its towering, naturally sculpted stone pillars. After this enriching experience of history and geography, you will be transferred to your hotel in Göreme for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Northern Cappadocia Day Tour and Flight to Izmir with Overnight in Kuşadası (B, L)

Your day begins with an optional Hot Air Balloon Ride at 5:30 AM, offering an unforgettable one-hour flight over Cappadocia’s surreal landscapes. After landing at around 7:30 AM, you will return to your hotel for breakfast and some time to relax. At 10:00 AM, your guide will pick you up for a full-day Northern Cappadocia Tour, featuring some of the region’s most iconic and picturesque locations. The tour includes the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing ancient cave churches adorned with vibrant frescoes; Uçhisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia with sweeping panoramic views; Paşabağ (Monks Valley), home to extraordinary fairy chimneys; Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley for its whimsical rock formations resembling animals and objects; and the charming riverside town of Avanos, famed for its pottery-making heritage along the Kızılırmak River. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for a 1.5-hour flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and comfortably transferred to your hotel in Kuşadası for a restful evening.

Day 3

Ephesus Day Tour with Overnight Stay in Kuşadası (B, L)

At 09:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel to begin a full-day guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world, offering an unforgettable glimpse into Roman civilization. The tour features the awe-inspiring ruins of Ephesus Ancient City, including the Library of Celsus, the Great Theater, and the Temple of Hadrian. You will then visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred pilgrimage site believed to be her final residence. Continue to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and explore the İsa Bey Mosque, a striking example of 14th-century Seljuk architecture. An optional visit to the Terrace Houses is also available, where you can admire the remarkably preserved frescoes and mosaics of elite Roman homes. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Kuşadası, where you can enjoy your evening at leisure and spend the night.

Day 4

Full-Day Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour with Return Flight to Istanbul (B, L)

At 7:30 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel and embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to Pamukkale. Upon arrival around noon, you’ll enjoy lunch in the charming town before beginning a fully guided tour of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Temple of Apollo, a sacred center of prophecy and healing; the Roman Theater, offering panoramic views and impressive preservation; and the Martyrion of St. Philip, a revered pilgrimage site. The tour continues to the iconic travertine terraces of Pamukkale, formed by mineral-rich thermal waters cascading down white calcium cliffs. You’ll have free time to explore the terraces barefoot and can opt for a relaxing dip in Cleopatra’s Pool, a warm, ancient thermal bath. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for a 1-hour flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our team will meet you at the airport and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel.
