After being picked up from the hotel, you will drive through the Asian side of Istanbul by bus then pass Izmit Gulf by ferry via Yalova enjoying the lovely countryside view. The full way takes roughly 3 hours. Bursa was the first capital city of the Ottoman empire when it was founded in the 13th century. Today it is known as green Bursa due to the perfect natural waterfalls, mountains, forests and gardens and is the 4th biggest idustrial city in Turkey. The district in Bursa named İznik is very famous because of the tiles used in the Blue Mosque and the Palaces of the Ottoman Empire. When you will arrive to the city, you will take directly to the local restaurant which is famous for its İskender Kebab dishes. After lunch you will visit with a guide the Green Tomb Mausoleum complex which is famous for their Iznik tiles and was built by Sultan Mehmet, then we will visit the Green Mosque which was built also by Sultan Mehmet. The tour also includes a visit to the Covered Bazaar and Silk Market brought here from China thousands years before and the Grand Mosque with 20 equally sized domes and then climb by Cable Car to Uludag mountain, which dervives its name from the Byzantine time Monks who used to live and overlook the city with the best panorama. After the tour finishes, you will drive back to the hotel via ferry and private bus. All About 1 Day Bursa Tour

Come to Bursa for Bursa Tour, due south of Istanbul across the Sea of Marmara, for its beautiful mosques and other early Ottoman architecture, for its silk-filled bazaars, its thermal spa baths and hotels.

You can visit Bursa to see the top sights on a day-trip excursion from Istanbul, although an overnight in Bursa is more comfortable and rewarding. That way you can also see the ancient town of İznik (Nicaea) on the way to Bursa, and you may even have time to go to the top of Uludağ (OO-loo-dah, 2543 meters, 8343 feet), the mountain behind the city.

Bursa was the first capital (late 1200s-early 1300s) of the Ottoman Empire. The two founding sultans, Orhan and Osman, are buried here, and this is where the empire’s great architectural style was first developed.

The city clings to the slopes of Uludağ, the Bithynian Mount Olympus, and thus got its nickname Green Bursa from the surrounding forests. Now a large, bustling city of 2 million people, much of the greenery has disappeared beneath the concrete and macadam urban sprawl. Bursa’s traditional industries of silk weaving and fruit processing have long since been supplemented by motor vehicle manufacturing (it’s “Turkey’s Detroit”) and other industry, large and small.

On Bursa’s western outskirts is Çekirge, a thermal spa resort since Roman times, with many spa hotels and bathing establishments.
